"Ron Williams company was excellent in their service. After the most recent storm, my mother's home had some roofing shingles fly off on a very deteriorated roof. I'm sure we weren't the only home in the city facing the same issues. Even though they were backed up, this team was able to get an estimator out within a couple days and provide us with a very detailed and competitive estimate (We received 5 quotes within 2 and a half weeks). Once we heard back from our insurance company that they would indeed assist in paying for a portion of the roof where interior damage occurred, Ron Williams team graciously provided us another quote that covered the damaged portion only for Insurance, and then second with the remaining roof repair. Their communication through it all was seamless."

This is something that I thought would have been caught when I had my new heat and a/c unit installed the previous April. Within 2 days they had everything installed and sealed. I'm extremely happy with the work. No leaks!!!! I would definitely recommend and use them again myself. They were very professional, courteous, accommodating, and sympathetic to my situation. The price was reasonable even with the extra work needed. These are definitely the people to call if you have any roofing issues."

I had someone replace two shelves in my kitchen while I was at work yesterday. He did a great job. The thing is though he left a pile of sawdust in my driveway and some other debris. That doesn't seem like much and I cleaned it up and I didn't say anything to him, but that's more debris than my crew leaves on the ground after tearing off & replacing the roof on an entire large house.

Mended Roof Tiles?

Local Stockton Roofer says no way.

 First of all "mending" roof tiles is not mentioned anywhere in any manual or specification regarding repairing tile roofing & that is not by accident. 

In this frame alone there are 3 Breaks, left a 3-1/2" corner chip, center a 6 inch break that has been "mended" and right a broken tile also "mended". Remember this is one small area on a large roof, there were spots like this all over the roof.

We do not agree with this practice,  it is short term because the tile is stone which gets very hot - baking the sealant which normally fails within 1 year just as it has here. At Certified Roof & Inspection we replace broken tiles.

Real Roofers Know  that the only time sealant is appropriate is when failure of the sealant is not likely to result in a roof leak, such as a corner chip but never for larger breaks.

We had the garage roof replaced from shake to composite. I have to say that Ron Williams kept me up to date on any changes to the scheduled roof replacement. His pricing wasn't the cheapest but we were able to negotiate a good deal for both. On the day of the tear-off, I was expecting not to be able to park in the garage due to debris all over the driveway but to my surprise, I had a hard time finding any pieces of debris. I couldn't even find one old nail on the driveway! Ron calls you every step of the way from when he is going to start the tear off, to when the plywood and metal sheathing will be applied to when the composite will be done and roof completed. When I sent my request in through ServiceMagic, Ron was the only one that called me on the same day. He actually called within ten minutes of the online request! I did notice a few nails sticking through the plywood on the overhang but Ron came over as soon as I mentioned this to him. Ron is very good at what he does. I got quotes from other companies but they wouldn't list the type of materials they would be using. Ron did. Others would provide quotes but wanted 50% down payment. Ron only asks for 10%. I will definitely keep Ron in mind if we ever need our home roof replaced. I know I'll be recommending him to friends and family.
